OMG, where have i been? Well, to cut a long story short I've been very ill, and when not ill very busy at work.
However, we do have some new stuff. I watched Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back yesterday and it's pretty funny in a 'snigger' kinda way. If you liked Dogma and Clerks you should find it pretty good.
Also watched Memento at the weekend. great thriller starring Guy Pearce (yes, ex-neighbours) and keeps you guessing right until the end, well it did for me anyway. It's all about a guy who has severe short-term memory loss following the attack on him and his wife in which his wife died. He is out to avenge her death but can't even remember what he did yesterday or even that morning. So follows a life governed by polaroid photos and notes tattoed on his body to remind him of what he's doing and why. Then we meet his 'friends' Teddy (may be a cop, may be a drug-dealer, who knows) and Natalie (ex-girlfriend? Confidant? trickster?) and see the way they 'help' him. Well worth a watch even though the flashbacks can be very disconcerting. Tip: The DVD version has an Easter Egg which shows the scenes in true chronological order.
Well, apart from that I'm been listening to my mate An-D's music creations, check them out at www.roguetrooper.net in the right hand panel, they really are very good.
